Handcrafted Ceramic Wall Piece
This one-of-a-kind ceramic artwork features one elegant songbird with long, curling tails surrounded by floral motifs. Inspired by the flowing bird and blossom designs found in traditional Chinese porcelain, I have reimagined the motif through my own nature-inspired style.
Each element is hand-carved in porcelain, then finished with layers of glaze and melted glass that create depth, texture, and subtle light-play across the surface. The songbirds are highlighted in crisp detail against a richly textured background in shades of violet and indigo, evoking a sense of lyrical movement as though they are mid-song among the blooms.
Framed and ready to hang, this piece brings a poetic touch of colour and craftsmanship into the home.
