Secret Garden Porcelain Vase - Green with Blackbird

Part of my Secret Garden collection, this porcelain vase is inspired by the peaceful beauty of my parents’ garden, a place filled with birdsong, soft light, and quiet moments of reflection.

Each vase is slip-cast in fine porcelain and individually hand-painted, making every piece unique. The surface is decorated with expressive, abstract brushstrokes in layered shades of green, where colour and movement evoke the feeling of foliage and shifting light.

A blackbird appears within the painterly scene, a familiar garden visitor and a symbol of song, memory, and connection to nature. The piece is finished with layers of translucent glaze for depth, and accented with 24-karat gold lustre details that catch the light with a soft shimmer, echoing sunlight filtering through leaves.
