From my Secret Garden collection, this porcelain vase is inspired by the quiet beauty of my parents’ garden, a place filled with birdsong, soft light, and layered memories.
Each vase is slipcast in fine porcelain, then individually decorated by hand, making every piece unique. The surface features expressive, abstract brush strokes in soft and vibrant shades of blue, capturing the rhythm of leaves and petals in the breeze.
A graceful blackbird is painted among the layers, a gentle nod to the visitors that bring song and life to the garden. The design is built up with layers of glaze, creating depth and painterly movement, and finished with 24-karat gold lustre details that catch the light with a subtle shimmer, like sunlight glinting through branches.
