These small Pink Nest bowls are inspired by the elegant beauty of song birds, particularly their fragile egg shells and intricate nests. Influenced by my mother's vintage bone china tea set, which features stunning gold lustre details, these bowls are crafted from the finest porcelain. The interior is coated with a pink glaze and a touch of melted pink glass, creating a dazzling jewel-like effect. The exterior is adorned with underglaze illustrations of bird nests, carefully enhancing their natural textures. To complete the look, a feather is hand-applied in 24 karat gold lustre on the interior, and the rim is also coated in 24 karat gold lustre before being fired in the kiln.
