These bowls were inspired by the delicate beauty of songbirds and their fragile eggshells, as well as my mother's vintage bone china tea set with its elegant gold details. Made from fine porcelain, these pale green bowls feature a celadon glaze with a touch of melted green glass in the center, creating a jewel-like effect. The outside is adorned with underglazes that enhance the texture of bird nest drawings. And for the finishing touch, a gold lustre enamel motif of a feather or bird is delicately applied to the inside, with a touch of gold lustre on the rim before the final firing in the kiln.
