This plate is inspired by the landscape and the patterns of nature. I try to encapsulate the energy of colour and light.
Handmade from a porcelain clay body. The inside is decorated with slips and underglazes and combined with red glass, melted in the firing process, which pools in the centre of the plate. The outside is left unglazed to to leave the natural look of the porcelain exposed. This wall plate would be prefect as a unique decoration for the home.
